I am always on the look for new jewellery, some to replace the things I have grown tired of and other just to add to my growing collection.

I have been a bit tired of one of my rings for a while and have been searching everywhere for a new one. Normally I find my rings at antiques and charity shops and this new ring was no exception. I found the folded sterling silver ring at a local flea market. The lady was super weird and the ring was a bit broken, so I got it for almost nothing. The pendant is made by the amazing Lea Hoyer and the texture made from moulding silver in water is amazing. I am very inspired by it!

Also, I have a new hairstyle, Zofia my friend who has been on holiday at my parent's house, cut my hair in the bathroom. I am really loving it and for the first time in so long, I am wearing my hair down now. Such a nice summer style!

Only 5 days into this year the first major thing happened. I have been following the beautiful artist @qualasiki on instagram for a while and have fallen in love with her drawings and hand poke tattoos. I had told her whenever she would come to either Copenhagen or London she should hit me up so I could get one of her lines on me and only after 3 months she travelled all the way from Toronto to Iceland and then to Copenhagen! We ended up having a 3-hour tattoo session on the living room floor, surrounded by tea, pillows, duvets and good music. It was almost magical! We were talking non-stop and she ended up persuading me to start hand-poking myself and gave me a small tattoo kit when she left. When Matt came home from work I told him about it and that we could only use the ink today otherwise it would dry out. After hours of thinking and a fair few cocktails I ended up tattooing myself to see if I could, and after a happy outcome, Matt and I started drawing his tattoo. with this being Matt's first tattoo he kept changing his mind, but I did persuade him in the end. So at 2.30am, we both had one more tattoo. I know you aren’t supposed to have alcohol in your blood, but this was an exception and it turned out really really well!

This tattoo has been on my mind for a long time, both the placement as well as the motive. The plant that grows out of the frame symbolises and reminds me of growing out of the box I have, others have and society has put me in. The placement is very eye-catching and also on a place on my arm that I don’t particularly like. So it also makes me love my arms more since it is beautifully decorated with this now!

The two lines were the first thing that came to my mind when I needed to practice before tattooing Matt. I like simplicity in everything, also my tattoos. Lines are perfectly simple.

Matt’s tattoo is an abstract drawing of the side of a woman, he wanted something not too in your face and very simple. It was so nice to have this bonding experience doing something for the first time and giving Matt his first tattoo as well.

I liked it so much that I have decided to start hand-poking as a hobby and have already invested in everything to start poking. I have set up an instagram so I can show all the tattoos. go to @tinyhandspoke

Here is one out of two outfits I wore at the wedding a couple of weeks ago. I, of course, forgot to take pictures of my evening outfit, even though that outfit was the nicest of the two. I suppose that happens when you are having fun celebrating love

This outfit is super basic, as I always like it and of course monochrome. I have been on the hunt for an outfit I would feel festive enough in as well as comfortable. choosing a dress is different for me but I fell in love with this one!

The dress I wore in the evening as well, but with different shoes, my hair down, different makeup as well as extra accessories. all with a theme of red. I had a red smokey eye, dark nude/pale pink heels, and red jewellery

The summer sale in WEEKDAY and H&M right now is amazing, and I have found it hard not to shop. Due to our recent heat wave in Denmark, I have come to realise that I need to show more skin in order not to pass out of overheating. So I have bought a couple of dresses, something you really don't see me wearing a lot (new times, new times).
And the other thing I have realised is that I need more party wear, I have had a lot of parties this summer already, so I have bought myself some cute slip-on sandals with a tiny heel and the mesh top to make my basic and classic outfits a bit more party-ready. I need to become less scared of frills and skirts, but because of the mesh, the top is still edgy and I have already worn it!

Man down, man down!! I have been hit by a sunstroke, which is why the blog is lacking some attention. I will give you one tip and that is: stay hydrated in the sun. I completely forgot and that is why I am on the 3rd day of nausea and dizziness and have been throwing up the first 48 hours.

Today was suppose to be the weekly meal plan, but to be completely honest, the first intake of food I have had the past 3 days, other that rice crackers,  was last night at 23.00 and it consisted of falafels and mashed avocados. And I have been looking at so many food channels, to make me feel hungry, but it hasn't helped anything. So I don't really know when the next proper meal will be.

So instead, I wanted to post these pictures of me being as fash as I can. It is a while ago, back when Erin was still living in Copenhagen and we had a day of shopping. When it was a bit colder, I was loving the silk scarf vibe and was literally wearing it on every occasion I could! The parka coat is a charity find from 4 years ago, It is a massive men's parka coat with a hood, detachable inner fluffy inner lining and with good pockets. Any coat/jacket I have with good pockets, I love!

I still find it super weird to take outfit pictures, which is the reason why these types of posts are rare. And also why I am putting on a weird face every time I post. But also because most of the days I am wearing something very basic and comfortable. Comfort is key for me!
