This was the beautiful light hitting the walls of the hospitals waiting room those 5 hours I was there waiting for the 30 minute operation. I saw the light travel from one wall to another while watching a silly romantic comedy on my phone.
I have been home for 2 days now with my big lump of a foot. It has been all wrapped up in bandages even though only two of my tiny toes were operated on. The operation was to fix my toes, they had to cut the ligaments to straighten the toes so it doesn't hurt when I walk, which is a bit ironic since it now hurts because of the operation. But I will be fine.

I have friends coming over to entertain me and help me cook when Matt isn't home. He is being the best boyfriend ever getting things for me, giving me tea and finding my drugs when I wake up at night in pain even though he is the one that has to get up early to go to work.

I have a couple more days at home before I am good to walk around for a longer time. Right now I can barely walk from the bed to the sofa to sit.

Hope you are all having a good weekend, pain-free and filled with cuddles in this cold winter weather.
